Ash Taylor – Guiding the Next Generation of Defenders

I'm Ash Taylor, a professional footballer with over 600 senior appearances across the UK and Europe. My journey began at Tranmere Rovers, where I progressed from the youth ranks to the first team, making 250 appearances. I've since played for clubs including Aberdeen, Northampton Town, Walsall, Kilmarnock, Bradford City, and currently, FC Bruno's Magpies in Gibraltar.

Throughout my career, I've won a number of trophies and collected silverware along the way, I've faced challenges—injuries, transfers, and the constant pressure to perform. These experiences have taught me resilience, discipline, and the importance of mental strength. Representing Wales at the U19 and U21 levels was a proud achievement, highlighting the value of dedication and hard work.

Now, I'm committed to mentoring young players, especially defenders, helping them navigate the complexities of the game both on and off the pitch. Whether it's understanding positional play, building confidence, or making smart career choices, I'm here to share the insights I've gained over the years.
